
FARZAD JALILVAND
KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Farzad Jalilvand is a seasoned strength and conditioning coach and sports scientist with over a decade of experience across various athletic environments. He has worked with athletes from diverse sports at multiple levels, including Team USA, NHL, AHL, MLS academy, Division I, and high school programs.
Notably, Farzad was responsible for delivering the physical preparation program for the Aerial team leading up to the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, contributing to a team gold and an individual bronze medal. Currently, he serves as a Senior Strength and Conditioning Coach, overseeing the Fencing National Program and is the strength and conditioning lead for injury rehabilitation.
Farzad has also contributed to several academic publications, focusing on topics such as change-of-direction, strength and power development, sprinting, and fatigue monitoring.Farzad is also currently finishing his Doctoral degree at Cardiff Metropolitan University.
